The 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction saw a large number of players sold for astronomical amounts. Even though they were among the most seasoned players in the franchise league, certain players, nevertheless, failed to draw any offers.
A couple quick bowlers, including Bhuvneshwar Kumar (INR 10.75 crore) and Arshdeep Singh (INR 18 crore), sold for hefty sums of money at the blockbuster auction. When it comes to Umesh Yadav’s IPL performance, he has played 148 games for four different teams and claimed 144 wickets at an average of 29.97 and an economy rate of 8.49. He claimed eight wickets at an economy rate of 10.00 and an average of 26.25 in seven games during the previous season.
