Aakash Chopra advised LSG to remove RCB’s top-order in Lucknow because “KGF will not like black-soil pitch.”

Aakash Chopra, a former cricketer turned commentator, said that Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) should create a “black-soil” field in advance of the match to destroy Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) top-order. At the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Monday, May 1, the KL Rahul-led LSG will take on the RCB.

Aakash Chopra predicted that the home team would need to choose the ‘black-soil’ surface in Lucknow rather than the’ red-soil’ in order to get rid of the trio of Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, and Glenn Maxwell. He also gave a direct evaluation of the batting order, saying that aside from the top order, the rest of the RCB unit lacks depth.

For those who are unfamiliar, black-soil pitches are reputed to have more bounce and to be more elastic and durable. The red-soil pitches, on the other hand, frequently dry up more quickly, which benefits spinners or slow bowlers.

The outcome of the match will depend on the color of the dirt. Aakash stated on his YouTube channel, “I believe Lucknow should throw a black-soil pitch because KGF (Kohli, Glenn, and Faf) would not like that pitch and the rest of the batting lacks depth, as we have mentioned numerous times.

In terms of the upcoming match, RCB will be looking to rebound after losing to KKR in their previous outing. Additionally, the team will look for revenge after losing to LSG in the first encounter this season.
