WTC 2023–25 Points Table: after their historic victory against Pakistan in the Test series, Bangladesh now has the current standings

Bangladesh maintains its lead over Pakistan and is now ranked fourth following their historic victory in the Test series in Rawalpindi. With this victory, the visitors have defeated their South Asian opponents in a series for the first time under the red-ball format. The team took a 1-0 lead over the hosts after winning the first Test. The team led by Najmul Hossain Shanto improved their ranking in the most recent World Test Championship (2023–25) standings with this outstanding victory.

With a commanding six-wicket victory, the Bengal Tigers have surged to the fourth spot with 33 points and 45.83 points percentage (PCT). The team won handily thanks to outstanding efforts from Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Hasan Mahmud, Litton Das, and Nahid Rana, who all made significant contributions to their side during the Test match.

Miraz won the Player of the Series title after taking ten wickets and scoring 155 runs in the two Test matches, while Das won the Player of the Match award for his 138 runs in the opening innings. With nine wickets apiece, Mahmud and Rana enabled the tourists to completely destroy the opposition in the second innings, requiring only 172 runs to win.

With 16 points and a PCT of 19.04, Pakistan has dropped to the seventh spot in the meantime.

Pakistan will host England for a three-match series in October, while Bangladesh will play its next series—a two-match away set against table-topping India this month.
