Nikhil Chopra will continue as Chairman of CAC position at DDCA for the third consecutive time

Nikhil Chopra, a former Indian cricket player, has been named by the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) as the Chairman of the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC). The committee was reorganised in accordance with the resolutions approved by the DDCA Apex Council, and Nikhil will serve in this capacity for a third consecutive term.

Former cricketer Surinder Khanna and Anjali Sharma are the other committee members who would be joining Nikhil Chopra in the CAC.

In suggesting the appointments of selection committees, coaches, managers, and support personnel to the DDCA President, the committee will play a significant role. Note that this proposal is only applicable to events hosted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Nikhil’s attendance is required because the committee is composed of the three members. The central figure is the chairperson, whose attendance is required. Establishing the greatest levels of openness in all of its activities would be the chairman’s top goal.

For the nation, the 50-year-old has participated in 39 ODIs and one Test match. In March 2000, during his short red-ball career, he scored seven runs in two innings in Bengaluru against South Africa. In 39 ODI games, the right-hand hitter amassed 310 runs at an average of 15.50 during his career. With an average of 27.95 in a 50-over game, he was a useful bowler with 46 scalps.
