Mumbai’s cricket players took time off the pitch on National Sports Day to cheer up and encourage patients at the Sri Ramakrishna Multi Speciality Hospital in Coimbatore.
Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, and Dhawal Kulkarni were among the visiting players who engaged with patients in the oncology department, also known as the cancer ward. For these sportsmen, the trip was more than simply a standard pit stop; it was an act of kindness towards their fellow residents. Notably, the little children showed the cricket stars a lot of love and affection with red roses.
In addition, they gave Suryakumar and Shreyas souvenir paintings. Following that, they both talked to the children and autographed small cricket bats and gifts for them. They also wished the children a quick recovery before departing.

When fielding, Suryakumar Yadav sustains an injury.
In the cricket arena, Mumbai’s performance in the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament was far from ideal as they were humiliated by TNCA XI, ending their hopes of qualifying for the semifinals. Two of their main batsmen, Iyer and Sarfaraz Khan, did not contribute much.
Suryakumar Yadav, meanwhile, was unable to bat because of a hand injury he sustained while fielding. Reports, however, indicate that Yadav’s ailment isn’t significant, and his absence was just a precaution. Shams Mulani put up a respectable effort during the Mumbai innings, leading the team with 68 runs while chasing a massive 510-run mark.

Sadly, his hit wasn’t sufficient to prevent the team from suffering a crushing loss. The bowlers for TNCA XI, especially CV Achyuth and R Sai Kishore, caused chaos by taking three wickets apiece to destroy the Mumbai batting order and limit them to 223 by the end of the fourth day.
