Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), demanded “major surgery” to address the problems after the team’s humiliating elimination from the T20 World Cup. However, we lack reliable data and a player pool to draw from when attempting to solve them. It was a disorganised system overall. Mohsin Naqvi anticipates that the Champions Cup would produce a minimum of 150 cricket players. He said that 80% of the players were chosen by artificial intelligence and that the PCB doesn’t maintain records for many domestic cricket players. He anticipates that the competition will provide greater clarity, on the basis of which they will form their next teams.
