Sri Lanka recently defeated the Rohit Sharma-led team in a three-game ODI series. A three-game T20I and ODI series pitted the two teams against one another. Although they were unable to do so in the 50-over contests, the Men in Blue were able to thrash Sri Lanka in the T20I series 0–3.
Sri Lanka defeated India in the second and third One-Day Internationals after the first ODI ended in a draw. In all three of their One-Day Internationals against Sri Lanka, India found it difficult to chase down sub-250 goals.
Tanvir Ahmed, a former cricket player for Pakistan, came forward after witnessing the team’s performance and criticised the Indian squad for their ODI performance against Sri Lanka. Without Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma, he believed that Pakistan will easily defeat the team.
“Examine your own work first, and then offer recommendations regarding Pakistan. India will be easily defeated by Pakistan if Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah do not play against them, according to Tanvir, who was cited by Cricket Pakistan.
“You can observe what will happen to the Indian batting lineup going forward. It might work out for the bowling lineup, but it will be tough for the batting order. Apart from Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, none of the new batsmen in this Indian side are capable of continuing this batting order in the future, he said.

Tanvir Ahmed further added that the Indian batting team can only score runs on flat pitches at home. He felt that the Indian hitters would be in difficulty as soon as the ball began to turn and swing.

“In flat pitches at home, they may score runs, but this Indian batting lineup is not strong enough to bat in those conditions when the ball turns seams and swings. Tanvir Ahmed stated, “They had opportunities to score runs in the first match, which resulted in a stalemate, as well as in the second and third ODIs.
