The senior players’ success in the T20 World Cup 2024 and their excellent brand of cricket were praised by former India head coach Rahul Dravid. Speaking candidly about the victory, Dravid praised the veteran players for their contributions. Additionally, he praised Rohit for being a superb leader. The 51-year-old said that it made a difference that the other cricket players tended to come towards him.
“I don’t think I can claim all the glory for that. The captains and other senior players, in my opinion, are the team’s leaders. Working with Rohit was an honour. I think he did a great job leading during these two and a half years. “I think that makes a big difference, because people really gravitated towards him,” Dravid stated in a Star Sports video.
