Kaleem Sana, the top pacer for Canada, made headlines recently for his outstanding performance in the ongoing Global T20 Canada 2024. The Toronto Nationals and Montreal Tigers squared off. On Monday, August 5, both sides squared off at the CAA Centre in Brampton.
The Toronto Nationals had a terrible first inning when they batted first. Out of the entire lineup, just one batter was able to score more than ten runs. As the Nationals were swept out for 52 runs in the first inning, Jatinderpal Matharu scored 12 runs in 25 pitches.
Kaleem Sana, a native of Pakistan, was given credit for the Montreal Tigers’ outstanding ball handling ability. In addition to taking four wickets in the first innings, Sana’s performance contained an incredible hat-trick.

Unmukt Chand, who was played on while moving the ball towards the off-side, was dismissed by the 30-year-old to start his attack. Not only that, but he also removed Roston Chase, who was removed for another ball-dragging incident onto the stumps.
On the opening ball of the following over, Sana also accomplished the hat trick. Ayan Khan’s outstanding catch allowed Sana to remove veteran Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz from the game.
Kaleem Sana finished his tenure after bowling three overs, giving up 13 runs and claiming four outstanding wickets.
The Tigers were able to restrict the Nationals to just 52 runs in the first inning thanks in large part to his performance.

The Montreal Tigers started the inning with Dilpreet Bajwa and Ashton Agar scoring 12 and 5 runs, respectively, as they advanced to pursue the goal. With nine runs from Parveen Kumar, Tim Seifert and Gerhard Erasmus continued their unbeaten streaks, scoring fifteen and four runs, respectively.
The Montreal Tigers, who had lost three wickets throughout the process, took 11.3 overs to chase down the target and won by seven wickets. The Tigers, who had four victories and one loss in their previous six games, surged to the top of the standings with the victory. The team has nine points in their account.
