Johannesburg, August 5, 2024: Dinesh Karthik is delighted to join the League as an ambassador for SA20, the top T20 league in South Africa.
As a World Cup winner and former member of the Indian national team, Karthik’s extensive cricketing experience is an exciting development for the League, which is quickly becoming recognised as one of the best franchise leagues in the world.
Dinesh Karthik expressed his excitement about becoming an ambassador for the Betway SA20.

Having participated in the Indian Premier League since its launch in 2008, the 39-year-old former India international possesses extensive expertise of franchise T20 cricket.
In his 16-year IPL career, he has played for six different teams. Karthik has scored 4842 runs at an average of 26.32 and a strike rate of 135.66 throughout this time. In addition, he has completed 37 stumpings and taken 145 catches behind the wicket.
Dinesh Karthik has also transformed into one of the top finishers in the shortest format in the later stages of his career by incorporating an explosive component into his style.
Known to his fans as “DK,” he has also grown into one of the most likeable television pundits in the world, drawing laughs from people all around the globe in addition to showcasing his extensive gaming knowledge.
Karthik is expected to collaborate closely with AB de Villiers, another SA20 ambassador, and the management group to enhance the League’s worldwide fan base and improve brand recognition in India and the UK, two important strategic markets.
Graeme Smith, the commissioner of the SA20 League, announced Dinesh Karthik’s nomination as the league ambassador. “We are thrilled to welcome DK as an ambassador for Betway SA20 season 3,” Smith stated.
