Mysuru Warriors, the runners-up of the previous season, selected Rahul Dravid‘s son Samit Dravid for INR 50,000 during the third Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 auction held in Bengaluru on July 25. Samit Dravid, a middle-order batsman and agile medium-pacer, was a vital component of the Karnataka Under-19 side that won the Cooch Behar Trophy in 2023–24.

In a three-day game against the visiting Lancashire team in Alur, he also played for the KSCA XI. Karun Nair, who has been kept as the team’s captain, will be in charge of Samit at the Warriors. Additionally, the Warriors purchased two all-round players: Jagadeesha Suchith for INR 4.8 lakh and Krishnappa Gowtham for INR 7.4 lakh.
