In relation to the match between England and the West Indies, England started the second Test by batting first after winning the opening game of the series. Ollie Pope and Ben Duckett both had outstanding games, scoring 121 and 71 runs, respectively.
In addition, England amassed 416 runs in the first innings thanks to 69 runs from Ben Stokes. With three wickets under his belt, Alzarri Joseph led the West Indies in wicket-taking. Shamar Joseph scored one run, while Jayden Seales, Kavem Hodge, and Kevin Sinclair each claimed two wickets.

In addition, England maintained a 207-run advantage at the close of day three of the match after finishing the second innings with a total of 248 runs and the loss of three wickets.
