Only three Indians are includeds in Yuvraj Singh's all-time starting XI
Yuvraj Singh faced another big obstacle after his teammates’ joyous celebration of India Champions’ World Championship of Legends (WCL) victory. This time, it wasn’t on the pitch; instead, he had to choose his all-time XI.

The assignment necessitated the careful selection of just 11 players, which meant that many of the people he respects would inevitably be left out. To the surprise of many, only three Indians—Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma—were on his final roster.

The highly regarded Tendulkar and India captain Rohit got the first two spots, and he inserted Kohli at number four. Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting, who has three ODI World Cup triumphs (1999, 2003, 2007), two of which he won as captain, was awarded the coveted No. 3 place.

Adam Gilchrist and AB de Villiers, two potent wicketkeeper-batters, came next at Nos. 5 and 6. Andrew Flintoff, the lone English player in the XI, was chosen by Yuvraj at No. 7 as the team’s only true all-rounder.

The bowling attack, with its wide range of masters, was unmatched in strength and deadly precision. It included Wasim Akram, a left-arm pacer who could swing the ball at will, Glenn McGrath, a right-arm seamer who could consistently hit the dangerous channel, Shane Warne, a leg-spinner who could turn the ball miles, and Muttiah Muralitharan, an off-spinner who had the highest wicket total in international cricket.

In the meantime, Yuvraj, the all-round player who won the World Cup, won the 2024 WCL championship as the Indian Champions defeated Pakistan by an incredible five wickets while playing under his captaincy.

Yuvraj’s Singh’s all-time XI: Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, Ricky Ponting, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Flintoff, Wasim Akram, Shane Warne, Muttiah Muralitharan, Glenn McGrath
