18-member India A Women squad announced for multi-format tour against Australia A Women

18-member India A Women squad announced for multi-format tour against Australia A Women

In order to play Australia A in the multi-format series, India A Women will go to Australia. The Indian side will meet Australia A in a four-day encounter after playing three Twenty20 matches and the same number of One-Day Internationals. The Allan Border Field (ABF) in Brisbane will host the start of this multi-format tour on 7 August. Three T20Is will be held at the location, which is noteworthy.

Mackay will host the ODI games, while Gold Coast will play host to the four-day match. The 18-person Australian tour squad was revealed by the women’s selection committee in advance of the event. Shweta Sehrawat will serve as vice-captain under Minnu Mani, who has been named the team’s captain. Sajana Sajeevan, who shone in the just finished Women’s Premier League 2024, has been added to the team.

India The multiformat trip versus South Africa is dominated by women.

With regard to the senior India Women’s team, they were utterly dominant in the multi-format trip that commenced on June 16. India first defeated the visitors in the One-Off Test in Chennai, winning the series 3-0. Next, they dominated the ODI series. Nevertheless, the Proteas managed to tie the T20I series 1-1 at the business end of the tour, demonstrating some resiliency.
