Reflecting on India's victory in the T20 World Cup, Sanju Samson said, "The emotions are still going through."
The T20 World Cup 2024 was just won by Team India, who went undefeated throughout the competition.

This was notably their second World Cup victory in that format. India advanced to the Super Eight round of the competition, where they faced Australia, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh after being drawn against teams like the USA and Pakistan in the group stages.

The Men in Blue advanced to the semi-finals and final, where they faced South Africa and England, after winning all of their matches there as well. India’s World Cup victory was largely the result of a group of players, including ace wicketkeeper Sanju Samson. Samson spoke up about the World Cup for India and discussed his emotions after taking home the trophy. The 29-year-old disclosed how the squad as a whole is still filled to the brim with incredible experiences.

“The feelings are still being experienced. The pictures are still available. It was a truly amazing experience. I couldn’t help but smile. so lucky to be on the squad. I want to thank everyone who made a contribution. It was a full team effort, according to what NDTV cited Samson as saying.

After losing the opening game of the series, the team pulled off an incredible comeback to win the next three games and the series. Shubman Gill is in charge of the Men in Blue for this series, while Sanju Samson expressed his desire for increased playing time.
