Yuvraj Singh remarks after the WCL victory, "Feels good to be holding the winning trophy at this age too."

India was victorious in the first World Championship of Legends (WCL) after defeating Pakistan by five wickets. After the victory, Indian captain Yuvraj Singh expressed his happiness and thanked the players for their outstanding performance in the tournament and the final in particular.

Yuvraj Singh thanked the supporters for attending every game and said it felt fantastic to be holding the trophy at 42. In addition, the captain of the India Champions thanked all the coaches and staff members for lubricating the “old rusted machinery”.

It feels fantastic to be the winner at this age as well. I’m over the moon with the boys’—or should I say, men’s—performance during the competition! Returning to the park with legends from all over the world is always a pleasure. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the audiences for their tremendous support. After the game, Yuvraj tweeted, “And not to forget our coaches and support staff, who did an incredible job oiling our rusty machinery and helping us perform out there.”

It’s always great to be back on the park with legends from around the world.

“I’m excited to play under @YUVSTRONG12’s direction. He was desperate to win this. As a leader, he is deserving of this prize because he quickly put the team together and assigned each person their exact position. We constantly bothered him by giving him too many suggestions, but he handled everything flawlessly. Irfan tweeted, “Love you, brother, for that phone call.

So happy to play under the leadership of @YUVSTRONG12 . He wanted to win this badly. He deserves this trophy as a leader as he assembled the team in short time & gave each and everyone their role precisely.
