Former cricket players Kamran Akmal and Harbhajan Singh of Pakistan and India were recently filmed conversing in Birmingham.
When the two players were representing their respective nations at the World Championship of Legends, they crossed paths on the sidelines
.In the video that went viral on social media, Akmal and Harbhajan could be seen conversing, but a few minutes later, someone was seen separating them. In a later interview, Akmal told Paktv, “I made a mistake, and that was the only topic discussed.”

He added that the two talked about Harbhajan making fun of Pakistan captain Babar Azam, and that the latter acknowledged that it was inappropriate of him to do so. It is also important to remember that the cricket players were just embroiled in a heated brawl during the 2024 T20 World Cup.
Kamran Akmal’s remarks about India pacer Arshdeep Singh caused the incident. “Anything is possible. Arshdeep Singh will bowl the final over; his rhythm hasn’t been all that impressive. It’s already twelve,” Akmal had stated.
Harbhajan Singh responded by criticising the former Pakistani cricket player on X, which was formerly known as Twitter. Before opening your dirty mouth, you ought to be aware of the history of the Sikh people. It was always at twelve o’clock when your moms and sisters were kidnapped by invaders and we Sikhs rescued them. Disgrace to you all. Be thankful for something, Harbhajan Singh tweeted.

Akmal apologised to Harbhajan Singh on social media shortly after the message was made, saying he had no intention of hurting the community.
Speaking of the World Championship of Legends, Pakistan Champions defeated India Champions by 68 runs. Wahab Riaz and Shoaib Malik restricted India Champions and enabled their team to win the match. Akmal was outstanding for his team, leading them to a total of 243 runs.
