Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma pose with T20 World Cup 2024 trophy on trip to India

After ending their trophy drought and winning their first ICC tournament in eleven years, India has experienced innumerable moments of pride, pleasure, delight, and tremendous happiness. There have been lively celebrations around the Caribbean, with the Indian squad taking part in a particularly spectacular all-night party at the Hilton Hotel in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Players, along with their families and support personnel, celebrated this happy and successful occasion for the squad in a number of pictures shot with the trophy, both on the ground following the ceremony and in other locations. Praise for the athlete was abundant and came from fans, analysts, wives, and previous players, and the excitement was evident. Regarding this accomplishment, social media was flooded with congratulations.

Another memorable incident involved captain Rohit Sharma sharing a photo of the trophy on his bedside table. The photo showed his happy, contented face against a backdrop of darkness, lit by the phone’s light.

Similar to this, Suryakumar Yadav and Devisha Shetty had a custom wherein they posted a picture of themselves in bed with the trophy between them, signifying their shared success. Both images gained a tonne of attention and traction on social media after swiftly going viral.

Likewise, during their return journey to India, the two Mumbaikars demonstrated their friendship once more by exchanging a photo of themselves holding the shiny trophy, with Surya gesturing towards it. This picture is allegedly shot right before flight AIC24WC departs Bridgetown for New Delhi.

It’s interesting to note that the crew had an earlier departure date planned for India. But Hurricane Beryl, which hit the Caribbean islands, caused a postponement, delaying their plans.

After eight innings, Rohit and Surya stood out as their team’s top two scorers with 257 and 199 runs, respectively.
