Together with Open Doors Entertainment and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City will provide a free live broadcast of the Nepal vs. Netherlands event. Tundikhel, Tinkune, and Hanumandhoka have been selected as the locations, and around six o’clock in the evening, Tundikhel hosted a cultural programme.
Mahesh Kafle, Rachana Rimal, and Indira Joshi are just a few of the performers who reportedly attended the cultural event, according to Khabarhub. Many people flocked to the locations as Cricket Nepal (CAN) posted pictures and videos of the event on social media.

Nepal has initial setbacks
In their encounter with the NED,, NEP got off to a very tough start. The game was several minutes late because of a wet outfield. When it did start, the Scott Edwards-led team quickly took control of the competition. Nepal managed to score 29 runs during the powerplay despite losing crucial wickets of Aasif Sheikh and Kushal Bhurtel.
Tim Pringle and Logan van Beek, both in their youth, each claimed a wicket for the Netherlands. Anil Sah and captain Rohit Paudel of Nepal took charge of the game. At one point, they were down to 15/2, but since then, the lads have shown incredible resilience and haven’t given up easy wickets. Pringle returned to action in the eighth over, though, and dismissed Sah for 11 runs off 12 balls.
On the flip side, the club has struggled with run-rate, although they are limited in what they can accomplish. It didn’t help that they lost two wickets quickly, and they later shot when things were really tight, which made things worse.
Meanwhile, a sizable crowd of Nepalese supporters has gathered at Dallas’ Grand Prairie Stadium. Given that the NEP cricket team is still quite young, the stadium appears to be seared blue, which is encouraging.
