I would gladly give up everything to meet my father if I could: Harbhajan Singh
Many consider Harbhajan Singh to be one of India’s best off-spinners ever. He was on the winning teams of the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 Cricket World Cup. In all, he has taken the third-most wickets for India across all three formats. Known as Bhajji, the Turbanator, he went on to become a politician, actor in films, and cricket pundit during his second innings.

Despite a 43-year existence filled with incredible achievements, Harbhajan still believes he has ‘less’. Harbhajan Singh talked about his early years and the love of a parent who wished for his son’s success during an interview with Shikhar Dhawan, his former national teammate, on the chat show “Dhawan Karenge.”

Speaking about his family, Harbhajan Singh stated that he would help his kids become the kind of people they want to be and that he hopes they will grow up to be decent people. He also cited Sardar Sardev Singh Plaha, his father, who served as the cricket player’s mentor and major source of motivation.

As a father, I beseech God to grant my children the virtue of morality. We will help them become whatever it is they choose to be. My father is another great inspiration to me. He put in a lot of work. His aim was for me to become well-known and successful. “It’s strange that I’ve established a reputation for myself and he’s not present to see it,” Harbhajan remarked.

He’s undoubtedly keeping an eye on me and rewarding me. I would gladly trade anything and everything to meet my father. The best of times was in the old days. “I felt like I had plenty, but it felt less, and I felt like there was less, but there was plenty, at that time,” he continued.

As the host of the discussion programme “Dhawan Karenge,” Dhawan, who is now taking a break from cricket action, has started a new path. The presentation presents the cricket and Bollywood worlds to the public in a fresh and captivating way. Bhaji was requested to appear in the third episode of the show following the popularity of the first two, which included Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant.
