Rishabh Pant’s absence from the national team would undoubtedly have a significant effect on the equilibrium of the squad, but all that the new captain of the Twenty20 team, Hardik Pandya, can think about right now is wishing his comrade a “speedy recovery.”
A game-changer like Pant was involved in a terrible accident on Friday when he lost control of his automobile while driving on NH-58. He is currently being treated at Max Dehradun for severe injuries to his head, back, knees, and ankles.
On Monday, he was moved from the intensive care unit to a private ward. Because of the injuries, especially the ones that he sustained to his knee and ankle, he will be out of commission for a period of at least six months.
When asked about Pant, Hardik Pandya responded with compassion but also providing some context for the events that had transpired.
“What took place is a terrible turn of events. No one could have prevented that from happening, and as a group, we are sending our best wishes to Pant.

The captain encourages everyone else who will be given opportunities because of Pant’s absence to take advantage of those possibilities to the utmost.
