Everyone will give Hardik Pandya praise if he plays well against Pakistan during the World Cup: Suresh Raina
In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, star all-arounder Hardik Pandya has had a difficult season. In an all-cash deal, the 30-year-old was acquired by the Mumbai Indians from the Gujarat Titans, whereupon he was also named captain. Under his direction, MI won just four games and lost the other ten, placing them in tenth place in the rankings.

Hardik Pandya faced intense criticism from the crowd all season for his actions and strategies, which caused the Mumbai Indians to lose in the tournament’s group stage.

Hardik Pandya, who was just included in the Indian T20 World Cup roster, is expected to be one of the team’s key all-round players. Despite his difficulties, veteran Indian cricketer Suresh Raina came up to support Pandya, saying he should give it his all for India in the forthcoming Twenty20 World Cup.

He has performed admirably for India. Transient bad behavior does not define a person. According to Cricket Pakistan’s quote from Suresh Raina, “Everyone will praise him when he performs well against Pakistan in the World Cup.”

Notably, Hardik has played a significant role in the Indian T20I team. In 2023, when Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were preoccupied with the ODI World Cup, Hardik was even selected as the team’s captain for the shortest format.

India plays Ireland in the opening match of the T20 World Cup.

Concerning the T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian squad will play Ireland to begin their campaign. The teams will square off on Wednesday, June 5, at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Notably, Pakistan, the United States, and Canada are included in Group A of the competition, which also includes Ireland and India.

On Sunday, June 9, following the match against Ireland, India will play their bitter rivals, Pakistan, in the tournament’s nineteenth match.
