South Africa, England, and Bangladesh will all be hosted by the West Indies in 2024.

In 2024, the West Indies will host teams like South Africa, England, and Bangladesh, according to a new announcement by Cricket West Indies (CWI). Before the T20 World Cup in 2024, the Proteas will be in town for three Twenty20 Internationals in May.

In August, they’ll be back in the West Indies for three Twenty20 international matches (all of which will be played in Trinidad) and two Test matches in Guyana. Then, in late October 2024, England will go to the West Indies for three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), which will take place in Antigua, Barbados, and St Lucia.

Following their previous matches, the West Indies will conclude their home season by competing against Bangladesh in two Test matches in Antigua and Jamaica.

This will be followed by three One Day Internationals (ODIs) in St. Kitts and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) in St. Vincent. Both parties will engage in a confrontation in November-December 2024.

We implore supporters to unite in support of our male athletes dressed in maroon attire: Johnny Grave

CWI’s Chief Executive, Johnny Grave, expressed the board’s enthusiasm in hosting prominent cricket teams such as South Africa, England, and Bangladesh for the multi-format series, following the release of the schedule. In addition, he contemplated the progress made in constructing the National Stadium in Grenada and Windsor Park in Dominica. Furthermore, he mentioned the board’s intention to revisit the venue in 2025.

Johnny Grave, speaking to Cricbuzz, stated that the West Indies Men’s Home Series for the rest of the year will feature matches against South Africa, England, and Bangladesh. This series will take place in eight host countries in the West Indies, including Saint Vincent, which will be hosting matches for the first time since 2012. The announcement has been met with great enthusiasm.

“Due to substantial enhancements to the National Stadium in Grenada and Windsor Park in Dominica, we were unable to hold International cricket matches at these venues this year. However, we are eagerly anticipating our return to both venues in 2025. We encourage fans to support our Men in Maroon as we aim for a momentous third T20 World Cup victory and endeavour to accumulate crucial points in the ICC WTC,” he stated.
