In the powerplays, he had made significant gains for CSK. But halfway through, the pacer was forced to say goodbye to the lucrative competition. Rahman’s thoughts have turned to his country, Bangladesh, and their upcoming Twenty20 International Series against Zimbabwe.
Rahman’s final IPL 2024 match came against CSK versus the Punjab Kings on May 1. The legendary MS Dhoni gave him a parting gift before he bid farewell to his new family in India. Dhoni sent the left-arm bowler his autographed jersey along with a heartfelt message. The speedster from Bangladesh posted a photo of the same on social media and praised MS Dhoni for all of his help.

A lot is going on with Mustafizur’s loss: Stephen Fleming
Mustafizur played for the reigning champions in the IPL 2024, his first season there. With an economy rate of 9.26 and an average of 22.71, he claimed 14 wickets in nine matches, demonstrating strong play. The five-match series between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh, which begins on May 3, is expected to feature Mustafizur in its final two games.
