Right-arm seamer Ishant Sharma had to be ruled out due to a back spasm that occurred shortly before the toss.
So far this season, Ishant has claimed six wickets at an economy of 9.76 at an average of 27.66 from six games. Anrich Nortje, a speedster who hasn’t had a particularly impressive season thus far, has taken the position of the veteran seamer. He has taken six wickets from four games at an economy of 13.43 and an average of 35.83.
At Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, the Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are set to play in Match 35 of the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024). After winning the toss, DC captain Rishabh Pant invited SRH to bat first. Delhi made a few changes to their starting lineup going into the match after winning their previous two games.

Due to an injury, the southpaw was unable to play in the previous match. Shai Hope, who was once again benched to create room for Warner against SRH, took his place.
With just 166 runs from six innings at an average of 27.66 and a strike rate of 138.33, along with one half-century, the southpaw’s season hasn’t been particularly noteworthy thus far. Conversely, SRH didn’t alter their starting lineup, riding high on the wave of three straight wins.
