Thanks to Sunil Narine’s merciless century, KKR set a massive 223-run goal for RR to pursue. RR made mistakes throughout the chase, losing wickets quickly after. Approaching Narine head-on, Rovman Powell struck a boundary and two sixes before getting out. However, with 107 off 60, Jos Buttler was the one who carried his team home on his own. At the post-match presentation, Kolkata captain Shreyas Iyer appeared sad and his emotions were evident.
