Stepbrother detained due to forgery after Hardik and Krunal Pandya were tricked out of Rs 4.3 crores

The well-known Indian cricket players Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya have unexpectedly been victims of a financial scam orchestrated by their stepbrother, Vaibhav Pandya. Vaibhav was detained by the Mumbai police on suspicion of cheating and forgery after he allegedly stole an astounding INR 4.3 crore from Hardik and his brother Krunal.

According to reports, the three men had started a joint business endeavor about three years prior, which was the setting for the incident. Vaibhav was in charge of the remaining 20% of the capital and the day-to-day management of the polymer trading company, with Hardik and Krunal contributing 40% of the capital each.

But Vaibhav allegedly broke the contract by starting a different business in the same industry without telling his stepbrothers. The Pandya brothers are thought to have lost INR 3 crore as a result of the fall in income from the initial agreement.

To exacerbate the situation, Vaibhav is further charged with surreptitiously raising his profit share from 20% to 33.3%, so severely damaging Hardik Pandya and Krunal’s financial prospects.

Now, the Mumbai police’s Economic Offenses Wing has intervened and charged Vaibhav Pandya with forgery and deception in relation to these acts. The Pandya brothers have not yet addressed this regrettable episode in the media.

Hardik Pandya and Krunal must be thinking a lot about this personal setback because they are both preoccupied with playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this season. Particularly Hardik, who recovered from an ankle injury he suffered during the 2023 World Cup, has had a difficult few months.
