Gujarat Titans (GT) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by three wickets in Match 24 of the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) on Wednesday, April 10 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, to go back on track. With the bat first, Rajasthan amassed a massive 196/3 in the 20 overs given, thanks to half-centuries from Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag.
In response, GT managed to chase down the mark on the final ball of the match thanks to a half-century from captain Gill and helpful cameos from Rahul Tewatia (22 off 11) and Rashid Khan (24* off 11). With statistics of 3/41 in four overs, Kuldeep Sen was Rajasthan’s best bowler. After winning, they moved up to sixth place in the IPL 2024 points standings with six points from six games, while Rajasthan Royals stayed at the top with eight points from five games.

1. Riyan Parag keeps up his excellent form
The 22-year-old scored his third half-century of the year with a magnificent hit of 76 (48), which included five sixes and three fours. After 5.4 overs, with his team at 42/2, Parag stepped into the bat as openers Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal both cheaply retired to the pavilion. After the early setback, Parag and skipper Samson engaged in a vital 130-run stand-off that lasted 78 balls, pushing the team’s score above 170.

2. Sanju Samson scores a fifty-second straight.
The skipper of the Rajasthan Royals has been scoring a lot of runs this season, recording his second straight half-century. With seven fours and two sixes to pull him out of early danger, the 29-year-old hit an undefeated 68 off 38 balls to help his team register a total of 196.

3. The excellent knock by Shubman Gill
The captain of the Gujarat Titans scored his second half-century of the year with a stunning knock of 72 off 44 balls that featured two sixes and six fours. In the opening partnership of the innings, Gill and Sai Sudharsan scored 64 runs off of 50 balls to take the first wicket. With his side on 133/5 after the right-handed hitter was removed in the 16th over,.
