The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the 17-man team for the Twenty20 Internationals against New Zealand, recalling Muhammad Amir and Imad Wasim.

The 17-man team has been announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the forthcoming five-match Twenty20 International (T20I) home series against New Zealand, which is slated to begin later this month.

The team includes former players Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim, who both announced their retirements last month. Muhammad Irfan Khan, an uncapped middle-order hitter, and daring opener Usman Khan, who excelled in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), have been recognized for their outstanding performances. Six-time Test player Abrar Ahmed is included in the team and could play his first white-ball cricket match for Pakistan.

Five more players have been identified as non-traveling reserves in addition to the 17 players that have been selected for the squad. The player with the most experience on the reserve list is Muhammad Wasim Jr.

Abrar Ahmed, Azam Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Amir, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Naseem Shah, Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Usama Mir, Usman Khan, Zaman Khan are the members of the Pakistan squad that will play New Zealand.

Haseebullah, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Sahibzada Farhan, and Salman Ali Agha are the non-traveling reserves.
