IPL 2024 Match 18 between SRH vs CSK: Why aren't Mayank Agarwal, Mustafizur, and Matheesha Pathirana participating?

At Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Match 18 of the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is about to begin. Both clubs will be keen to get back to winning ways in the next game after losing their respective previous games.

Pat Cummins, the captain of SRH, won the toss and invited CSK to bat first on the fantastic Hyderabad track. Owing to injuries or the unavailability of key players, both sides altered their starting lineup multiple times. SRH benched Mayank Agarwal, who is ill, and Nitish Reddy took his place.

Agarwal hasn’t been playing well this season; in three games, he has only scored 59 runs. T. Natarajan, a left-arm seamer, has returned to SRH and will play in his first game of the season. Conversely, CSK had to alter their starting lineup three times. Mustafizur Rahman, a left-arm seamer, has been flown to Bangladesh to complete his US visa in preparation for the T20 World Cup in 2024; therefore, he will not be available for the match.

Mukesh Choudhary, Theeskshana, and Moeen Ali are brought in by CSK

With seven wickets from three innings at an average of 15.14 and an economy of 8.83, Rahman is noteworthy for being the co-highest wicket-taker of the season thus far. Speedster Matheesha Pathirana wasn’t just out of the game; he also had a niggle.
