Veteran English cricketer James Anderson poked fun at Ravindra Jadeja during the third Test match between India and England, which is now taking place at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.
Jadeja had just finished an incredible century and had performed his trademark sword celebration.
Soon after Sarfaraz Khan was out of the game, Ravindra Jadeja celebrated his fourth century in Test cricket by brandishing his sword. Despite the seeming tameness of the celebration following the run-out event, he proceeded with the routine for which James Anderson seemed to make fun of him. After the batter’s celebration, there appeared to be some conversation between Jadeja and the seasoned England pacer.

“Minor misunderstanding” – Sarfaraz Khan regarding his abrupt termination
The 112 runs that Jadeja scored during his innings proved to be crucial as India defeated the visitors with a respectable 445. But many were dismayed by Sarfaraz’s run-out, including Jadeja himself. When questioned about the miscommunication that resulted in his dismissal during the post-stumps news conference on Day 1, Sarfaraz stated that such incidents are simply a normal part of the game.
“There was a small misunderstanding. This is how the game works. There isn’t always a run-out; occasionally there is, and other times there is. Thus, everything continues. According to him (Jadeja), there was a small misunderstanding. And I responded, “It’s alright, it happens.” Nothing significant is there,” Sarfaraz remarked.
India scored 445 runs at the end of their first innings, with Rohit Sharma, the captain, leading the way with 131. As their hitters began to challenge the hosts, England made a tremendous comeback in the game. The visitors have lost five wickets and are now batting on 297 runs on Day 3.
