Sarfaraz Khan was given the chance to make his debut in Rajkot during the third Test matchup against England when KL Rahul was not present. Day 2 saw the early exits of both Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja, with Dhruv Jurel and Ravichandran Ashwin taking over. India passed the 400-run threshold thanks to the pair’s vital 77-run partnership. Knight praised Jurel’s temperament and said that the young player handled the occasion superbly in reference to his 46 runs on debut.
