Sarfaraz Khan was given the chance to make his debut in Rajkot during the third Test matchup against England when KL Rahul was not present. KS Bharat, who hasn’t played very well at bat for the national side, was replaced by new player Dhruv Jurel. Day 2 saw the early exits of both Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja, with Dhruv Jurel and Ravichandran Ashwin taking over. India passed the 400-run threshold thanks to the pair’s vital 77-run partnership. Knight praised Jurel’s temperament and said that the young player handled the occasion superbly in reference to his 46 runs on debut.
