The 31-year-old cricketer has performed mediocrely in the series after missing out on being included in the starting XI. Megan claimed five wickets while participating in all three Twenty20 international matches and the two one-day international matches.
Australia Women controlled the first day of their Test match against South Africa Women in Perth. Australia opted to field first, and their bowlers, especially Darcie Brown, who claimed five wickets in his opening innings, held South Africa to just 76 runs. With 26 runs scored, Sune Luus led all South African batters in scoring, although none of them were able to have a major effect.
Australia Women responded with a powerful batting performance, highlighted by half-centuries from Beth Mooney and Alyssa Healy. Australia now holds a dominating lead with Mooney’s 78 and Healy’s 99. Despite losing five wickets during the day, the hosts finished with a 175-run lead at 251 runs. For the rest of the game, South Africa will have a difficult time recovering.
