Following a fantastic season with the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League 2021, the Indian team management selected Varun Chakravarthy for the T20 World Cup that same year. I’m not sure if this was just a rumor or if someone was only trying to discredit me by spreading this information. However, such is the unjust nature of life. I found it really difficult,” Varun said to CricXtasy.

The greatest thing I can do is simply show up to the matches, give it my all, take a nap, and trust that whatever occurs will happen. The rumors seriously damaged my career, but I’ve just come to terms with it,” he remarked.
