Kulwant Khejroliya of Madhya Pradesh gave an outstanding effort in his team’s Ranji Trophy match against Baroda. Playing at the Holkar Stadium in Indore, Madhya Pradesh put up a massive 454 runs in the first innings of the match.
Baroda could only muster 132 in return. Baroda appeared to be in control as captain Shubham Sharma enforced the follow-on, with opener Jyotsnil Singh scoring 83 runs in 169 deliveries and Shashwat Rawat adding 105 more runs to the scoreboard.
Madhya Pradesh emerged victorious thanks to Kulwant Khejroliya’s outstanding bowling ability.
Kulwant Khejroliya had yet to capture a wicket in the second inning despite striking twice in the opening inning.
Nonetheless, the pacer’s skill with the ball was on display in the second inning’s 95th over. removing wickets off the third, fourth, and fifth balls. He bowled Akash Singh and removed players like Rawat and Mahesh Pithiya. He also trapped Bhargav Bhatt’s leg before.
In addition, he removed Atit Sheth from the game, finishing with a five-wicket haul of his own as Madhya Pradesh triumphed by an innings and fifty-two runs. He also became the fourth Indian in first-class cricket history to take four wickets in a row with balls after his four-wicket over.

It’s also important to remember that Sadanand Mohol, Shankar Saini, and Mohammed Mudhashir are the other three players in first-class cricket history to take four wickets in four deliveries.
Following the dismissal of the top order, Baroda’s remaining batters were unable to produce much. Shivalik Sharma scored 19 runs, while captain Vishnu Solanki managed just 13 runs. Mitesh Patel was dismissed after scoring just nine runs.
Baroda lost the match against Madhya Pradesh spectacularly, bundled out for 270 runs. With five wickets under his belt, Kulwant Khejroliya led Madhya Pradesh in wicket-taking. Anubhav Agarwal scored two runs and Kumar Kartikeya claimed three wickets.
