The humorous statement made by Rohit Sharma during the Visakhapatnam Test, "Mere gale ka watt lag gaya," has gone viral.

When India defeated England by 106 runs in the second Test at Visakhapatnam to tie the series at one, captain Rohit Sharma was at his most emotive on the field. The Indian captain was frequently seen having lighthearted chats with colleagues on the stump mic, which quickly went viral on social media.

Rohit Sharma delivered many pearls on the fourth day of the test, one of which has gone viral on social media. Remarkably, the Indian captain’s voice became raspy from yelling at his players during the match, and this was also apparent in his post-match interview. In the 34th over of England’s second half, Rohit Sharma was observed discussing the same thing with his teammates.

The phrase “Mere gale ka watt lag gaya hai chilla chilla ke tum sab ko” is audible in the widely shared video in which Rohit Sharma appears.

In addition to his verbal fireworks, Rohit Sharma sent Ollie Pope back to the pavilion in the opening session with a superb reflex catch (23 off 21). After making a rapid move to his right, the 36-year-old instantly moved to his left and collected a stunner.

Nevertheless, the series’ first batter has struggled thus far, scoring 90 runs at an average of 22.50 from four innings played. The cricketer, who was born in Nagpur, is renowned for having an incredible 61.52 average in India. He will be eager to score heavily in the third Test, which starts on February 15 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.

India will announce the team for the final three Test matches.

India has not yet announced a team for the final three games of the series, and Virat Kohli’s availability raises concerns. The star hitter, who had withheld his availability for the final three Tests, notably withdrew from the first two matches for personal reasons.

Aside from him, it will be intriguing to watch if KL Rahul, who is injured, and Ravindra Jadeja, who is hurt, recover from their previous three games.
