IND vs. ENG: A video of Rohit Sharma cursing his teammates on the stump mic gets viral.

On Saturday, February 3, during Day 2 of the second India vs. England Test in Visakhapatnam, India captain Rohit Sharma was discovered abusing his teammates. The event happened with England on 143/4 at the conclusion of the 31st over. The Indian captain appeared to be requesting his fielders to remain vigilant in between the overtures, using some foul language in the process.

Notably, India lost the Hyderabad Test by 28 runs as a result of their indolent play in the second inning. Because of this, the captain Rohit Sharma didn’t want to lose focus on the field and allow the game to slip away, as it did in the opening game.

Speaking into the stump microphone, Rohit Sharma said, “Koi bhi garden me ghoomega to, ##########.”

Returning to the game, Yashasvi Jaiswal carried on his score of 179 from the previous night as India maintained their innings on Day 2 at 336/6 in 93 overs. After Sunil Gavaskar and Vinod Kambli, the 22-year-old went on to score his first double century in Test cricket and became the third-youngest batsman to reach the milestone.

But he received little help from others, and when he attempted to raise the stakes on 209, he was fired. India was then bowled out for 396, with James Anderson emerging as England’s best bowler with stats of 3/47.

The second session saw Jasprit Bumrah deliver a stunning spell.

In response, England started well once more thanks to openers Ben Duckett (21 off 17) and Zak Crawley, who combined to score 59 runs off just 62 balls for the first wicket. India won for the first time when Kuldeep Yadav removed Duckett for being caught at first slip.

Crawley, though, persisted in his onslaught and managed to score a rapid 76 (78) before being removed at one point because of some outstanding fielding by Shreyas Iyer. Jasprit Bumrah was brought back into the attack by captain Rohit Sharma after he was dismissed, and the seamer did not let him down, taking important wickets from Joe Root (5 off 10), Ollie Pope (23 off 55), and Jonny Bairstow (25 off 39) to leave England on 159/5 after 36 overs.
