Kevin Pietersen considers Rohit Sharma’s “lazy” strategy in light of his poor Vizag performance.

Anybody can be reached out to; it makes no difference who you reach out to. Pietersen remarked, "I think he'd be kicking himself because there were plenty of runs to be had here."

Kevin Pietersen considers Rohit Sharma's "lazy" strategy in light of his poor Vizag performance.

In the second Test of the current series against England, Indian captain Rohit Sharma was once again not able to perform well. Getting out of the first innings of the second Test after only 14 runs in 41 deliveries. Without recording a single boundary during his time at the wicket, Shoaib Bashir bowled out the Indian captain.

Following his performance, ex-England cricketer Kevin Pietersen took to the field to question the Indian captain. Pietersen believed that after that outing, Rohit would be kicking himself and that the pitch had a lot to offer, but the veteran could not seize it.

Anybody can be reached out to; it makes no difference who you reach out to. There were a lot of runs to be had here, so I imagine he would be kicking himself. He will be reflecting on his removal at this wicket, up against a youthful and inexperienced bowling attack, and wondering, “How in the world did I get myself out here?” JioCinema heard Pietersen say:.

That dismissal was incredibly indolent. Kevin Pietersen

In addition, Kevin Pietersen felt that the shot that resulted in Rohit’s dismissal in the second Test was extremely sluggish and lacked urgency. It is noteworthy that on Day 1 of the second Test, Rohit managed just 14 runs, while in the first Test, he scored 63 runs over the course of two innings. The seasoned batter will try to improve as the second inning draws near.

“That dismissal was incredibly inconsiderate. Yes, knocking the ball toward the leg side is instinctual. That being said, there was no pressing reason for the firing. There was no pressing need to attempt to end the strike. These guys play T20 cricket so wonderfully that they are expansive from ball one. Kevin Pietersen stated, “We have not observed any extreme spin, tremendous bounce, or anything that should give the batter cause for concern.
