I talk about things with MS Dhoni that I wouldn't talk about with anyone else, including the following: Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant’s story sticks out among the many stories of cricketers because it is a colorful yarn full of hardships, victories, and self-belief. The cricket superstar talks about the key events that molded his early career in the third installment of the critically acclaimed “Believe” series on Star Sports.

Viewers get a peek at the difficulties he overcame, the pleasures he enjoyed, and the unspoken camaraderie that drives his journey. On Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 7 PM and again at 10 PM, fans can watch Rishabh Pant’s incredible comeback tale unfold for the first time, exclusively on the Star Sports Network.

Star Sports’ ‘Believe’ series is a ground-breaking platform that gives athletes a strong voice to share their inspiring stories and gives viewers a close-up view of their thoughts. This show satisfies fans’ intrinsic need for genuine, original content and serves as an inspiration for the following generation of sports lovers. It honors heroic situations while delivering the potent message that greatness is not exclusive to a select few.

Rishabh Pant discusses his close relationship with former captain MS Dhoni in an interview with Star Sports for the “Believe” series.

He highlights their open communication style and the priceless educational opportunities they have shared. It’s never easy for me to describe my relationship with MS Dhoni. There are certain people you may speak freely with. All of this is discussed with MSD. He’s taught me so much already. I talk to him about things that I wouldn’t talk to anyone else about. That is the nature of our relationship.

When Rishabh Pant looks back on his early years with the Indian cricket team, he emphasizes how experienced players like Yuvraj Singh and Ms. Dhoni were kind and encouraging, which helped him feel at ease and fit in with the group. “I was quite young when we first started, and there were a lot of experienced players—a lot of them, in fact. Senior players Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni were present.

Although it takes time, I didn’t get the impression that they were extremely senior. They really made me feel at home and were really inviting. Every new player feels extremely at ease with them. The Indian team has this culture.

Rishabh Pant also discussed the criticism he received when he first took over as a wicketkeeper from the legendary MS Dhoni. “First off, I didn’t understand why questions were raised,” he remarked. They were talking about replacing me, and I had just joined the team. Why were individuals pointing these kinds of inquiries at a child? For what reason are you drawing comparisons? There ought to be no analogy whatsoever.

While some have played 500 matches, others have just played five. The comparison is unfair because there have been so many ups and downs along the lengthy road. I used to feel terrible, terribly bad. When I was 20 or 21 years old, I used to cry and go back to my room. I was breathing heavily under pressure. I was under a lot of strain and wasn’t sure what to do. In Mohali, I failed to stump, and the crowd began to shout “Dhoni Dhoni.”
