When asked about Shoaib Bashir’s sad visa scenario, Rohit Sharma said, “I feel for him honestly.”

Sincerely, I feel bad for him, but maybe he can get over there shortly, enjoy his time in our nation, and play some cricket, Rohit remarked.

Shoaib Bashir's sad visa scenario, Rohit Sharma said, "I feel for him honestly."

Young player Shoaib Bashir, who was stuck in Abu Dhabi ahead of the series opener due to visa concerns, returned to the UK in an attempt to expedite the process, leaving the squad without his services as England prepares to play India in a five-game Test series.

Shoaib Bashir, a British Muslim of Pakistani descent, was the only member of the England team to experience visa problems of this nature.

To fix the problem, he had to take a plane from Abu Dhabi back to London. Indian captain Rohit Sharma expressed his sympathy to the young man, mentioning his predicament. He expressed empathy for him, acknowledged that it was undoubtedly difficult for him, and expressed his desire to resume playing cricket as soon as possible.

The Independent cited Rohit Sharma as stating, “I feel for him honestly. Unfortunately I don’t sit in the visa office to give you more details on that, but hopefully he can make it quickly, enjoy our country and plays some cricket as well.”

He went on, “It’s not easy for anyone; one of our guys might want to come to England and be turned away.”

I do not believe we are invincible: Rohit Sharma

In addition, Rohit Sharma discussed India’s prospects for the forthcoming Test match against England. believing that the home team is not invincible. In addition, he reminded everyone that although the victory in Cape Town was extremely memorable, the upcoming game would take place in India, meaning that both the opposition and the playing circumstances would change. They will therefore need to exert every effort to defeat England in the forthcoming Test series.

“I don’t believe we are invincible. That is not the way we want to think. However, our previous performance over the last ten or so years does not ensure that we will win this series. In the news conference held prior to the game, Rohit stated, “We need to play well to win this series.”

“This match is in Hyderabad, but the victory in Cape Town was good.” It’s distinct circumstances and opponents. However, we now have a lot of confidence from that victory, which we can carry into this series, Rohit said.
