The Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi, has made news recently because he is expected to be named the next chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). According to reports from Geo News, the formal announcement will take place following approval from Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and PCB Patron-in-Chief.
Mohsin Naqvi will take over for Zaka Ashraf, the outgoing chair of the PCB’s management committee, following his nomination.
Remarkably, Ashraf left his job not too long ago because of continuous arguments inside the management committee. In the event that Naqvi is appointed, he has stated that his top priority will be resolving issues related to the cricket board’s management end.
“I’ll work to resolve the problems hurting cricket in Pakistan. Cricket reforms are desperately needed, according to Naqvi, who was cited by Geo.
