Sarfaraz Ahmed debunks rumors about moving to the UK.

Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former captain of Pakistan‘s cricket team, has firmly denied recent rumors that he moved to the UK and reaffirmed his unshakable loyalty to his country.Sarfaraz Ahmed denied the rumors that he would be moving to the UK and stated that he couldn’t even consider leaving Pakistan in reaction to reports that had been spreading. He pleaded with the media to do their research before publishing such fake news.

“The idea of leaving Pakistan is beyond my reach. Prior to publishing such fake news, confirm,” Sarfaraz Ahmed emphasized in the interview. Sad to hear such news,” Sarfaraz remarked in a Samaa Digital interview.

Concerns regarding Sarfaraz’s future with the national team following poor performances—most notably a Test match against Australia in which he scored only seven runs—gave rise to the rumors. After that, Mohammad Rizwan replaced him for the final two Test matches of the Australian tour.

Sarfaraz came under fire even after making his Test debut in December 2022 following a nearly four-year absence. The cricket player expressed disappointment with the media’s dissemination of false information and advised them to double-check stories before publishing them in the interview.

Azam Khan, the manager of the Quetta Gladiators, also denied the migration allegations, stating that Sarfaraz and his family had visited his son who is a student in the UK.

“Sarfaraz Ahmed had gone to see his son, who is studying in England, along with his family,” Azam Khan added.

Sarfaraz declared his intention to stay a PSL player with the Quetta Gladiators.

The 36-year-old batsman and wicketkeeper, who helped Pakistan win the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, is still committed to his cricket career. Sarfaraz stated that he wanted to play for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Quetta Gladiators going forward, despite the uncertainty.

Fans are looking forward to Sarfaraz’s return to the Quetta Gladiators as the PSL season draws near. They want to win the title for the first time since their triumph in 2019. Any rumors of Sarfaraz moving to the UK soon are refuted by his persistent devotion to the game and to representing Pakistan.
