He had surgery to repair damage to his ankle after getting hurt against South Africa in a just finished Twenty20 international series. This procedure preceded his sports hernia surgery.
Suryakumar Yadav will be fit for the upcoming IPL (Indian Premier League) season and the T20 World Cup 2024, which is scheduled to start in June, according to multiple BCCI sources.
In addition, the 33-year-old’s treatment approach is very different because he had surgery to treat his ankle injury. The BCCI is proceeding cautiously because they want Suryakumar to be at the peak of his game before the big events.
