Star batsman Virat Kohli of India is one of the most well-liked sportsmen on the planet, with a huge global fan base. The former captain of India holds the distinction of being the third most followed sportsperson on Instagram, with over 265 million followers, behind only the illustrious football players Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Kohli’s social media following has grown even more as a result of his cricket accomplishments than those of football players like David Beckham, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar Jr., and the late Lebron James. When American YouTuber IShowSpeed recently showed Kohli’s headshot to him, the renowned Brazilian football player Ronaldo Nazario recognized him as well.

Ronaldo Nazario, who has scored 62 goals in 98 games, is noteworthy for being Brazil’s third-highest goal scorer. At the age of seventeen, he played in the 1994 FIFA World Cup and won. He also received the 1998 edition’s Player of the Tournament award and the Golden Ball for leading Brazil to the championship. Ronaldo was the tournament’s best scorer and received the Golden Boot in the 2002 World Cup victory. In addition, the 47-year-old has won two Copa America championships, taking home the trophy in 1997 and 1999, respectively.
Virat Kohli will skip the first Twenty20 international against Afghanistan for private reasons.
In the meantime, the forthcoming three-match T20I series between India and Afghanistan, which starts on January 11 in Mohali, will mark Virat Kohli’s 14-month return to the format. The star hitter will play with the side in the final two Twenty20 Internationals, but not in the opening game.
