Haris Rauf got himself into a surprising situation during a jaw-dropping Big Bash League (BBL) match between the Melbourne Stars and Sydney Thunder.
Unaware that the Stars would lose three wickets in three balls in Daniel Sams’ penultimate over, Rauf was forced to walk up to the crease sans pads, causing confusion among both fans and commentators. He approached without using any pads so he wouldn’t run out of time.
