Irfan Pathan, a former cricket player, has continued to believe in Rinku Singh, who has shown great promise in his little international experience. The 39-year-old thinks the southpaw can hit the ball hard and likes to play on springy fields, which South Africa will provide. Notably, the batsman from Aligarh performed admirably in the just-finished Twenty20 International series against Australia. As a result, he was also called up for the One Day International series.
Pathan went on to say that Rinku Singh has proven himself on the home circuit and discussed his experience in the simplest format.
Notably, the flashy batter made waves for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL), and he went on to get his first-ever call-up to the national team during the series against Ireland. He emphasized that Rinku Singh had to wait a long time for his chance and that his success in international cricket is now a result of his diligence.
Because he is the type of batsman who prefers to confront quick bowling, I believe he would appreciate the bounce and pace of the ball. He seems like a person who is ready, in my opinion. It will benefit to be a left-hander in particular and a fluid player in particular. He is quite remarkable. A man has a great deal of experience when he has put in the hard work in domestic cricket and has bided his time to succeed in the IPL. According to Irfan Pathan, Pathan stated, “He knows how to take those chances that will come his way with both hands.”
In addition to playing for the Indian team and having recently finished a strong match, Pathan added, “We are seeing him getting results lately. His name has been doing the rounds for the last little while, but don’t forget that he has been playing first-class cricket and List A cricket for many years.”
Notably, Rinku Singh will need to win both the IPL and the following two Twenty20 Internationals against South Africa as well as the three-match series against Afghanistan. The cricketer will be eligible to play in the forthcoming T20 World Cup if he can maintain consistency over the course of the following six months. There is fierce rivalry, too, as several cricket players are vying for the sixth position.
