India has announced their teams for both the two one-off Test matches against Australia and England and the three-match T20I series against England. On December 6, 9, and 10, England will play a three-match Twenty20 International series at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. A one-off Test at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai from December 14 to 17 will take place after the T20Is. Australia and India will also play a test match at Wankhede Stadium from December 21 to 24.

The teams for every forthcoming assignment have been revealed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Smriti Mandhana will be Harmanpreet Kaur’s deputy as she leads the team in both the Tests and T20Is. In both teams, there are two possibilities for wicketkeeping: Richa Ghosh and Yastika Bhatia.

The gifted team of Saika Ishaque and Shreyanka Patil got their first call-ups. Patil has only been selected for the Twenty20 Internationals, but the left-arm spinner is a member of both the Test and T20I squads. In the meantime, youthful pacer Titas Sadhu received his first national call-up for the red-ball format after making an impression at the Asian Games. Shubha Satheesh of Karnataka is another player who was called up for the first time for trial.

For the first time since 2014, the Indian women’s cricket team will play a Test match at home. They were able to come away with two draws from their two Test matches in 2021, which they played in England and Australia. There is a tangible sense of enthusiasm among the supporters as they anticipate an exciting Indian home season that includes three of the best teams in women’s cricket.

India’s squad for 3 T20Is against England: Harmanpreet Kaur (C), Smriti Mandhana (VC), Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Yastika Bhatia (wk), Richa Ghosh (wk), Amanjot Kaur, Shreyanka Patil, Mannat Kashyap, Saika Ishaque, Renuka Singh Thakur, Titas Sadhu, Pooja Vastrakar, Kanika Ahuja, Minnu Mani
