Australian athletes honor Phillip Hughes on the ninth anniversary of his passing.

On November 27, the nineth anniversary of Phillip ‘ death, Australian cricketers David Warner, Steve Smith, and Michael Clarke paid tribute to him. The collision that resulted in a dissection of the vertebral artery was what led to a subarachnoid hemorrhage, which ultimately led to his death.

2014 saw Phillip Hughes suffer a notable bouncer injury to the neck during a Sheffield Shield game at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
