In white-ball cricket, Ishan Kishan has typically started for India as an opener. But he was placed in the middle order for the Asia Cup 2023, and he is now ranked third in the T20I series against Australia, which is continuing this trend.
Ishan Kishan played admirably, getting 58 runs at Visakhapatnam in the opening Twenty20 International. With just 10 deliveries from leg-spinner Tanveer Sangha, he demonstrated his ability to change gears by hitting 30 runs. He adopted an even more aggressive strategy in the second Twenty20 International, making a speedy fifty-two off thirty-two balls to help India mount an overwhelming 235/4 total.
