The men in blue will be led by star Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav in the five-match Twenty20 International series against Australia, which gets underway in Visakhapatnam on November 12.
VVS Laxman, a former cricket player for India, has been named the series’ head coach. The match ends on December 3 in Bangalore. The team from the Ireland series has mostly remained the same. In the meantime, that series’ captain, Jasprit Bumrah, has taken a break.

The Indian squad consists of the following players: Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Shivam Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar, Ishan Kishan, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, and Jitesh Sharma (wk).
The World Cup squad member Prasidh Krishna has also been included to the forthcoming series. Hardik Pandya, on the other hand, won’t be taken into consideration since he needs more time to heal from an ankle injury he suffered during the main event.
Prior to their meeting in Ahmedabad, the national team selectors had considered Shreyas Iyer for captaincy. They decided to alter their plans, though, citing worries about the amount of work the middle-order batter has been carrying lately, starting with the Asia Cup. For the final two matches in Raipur and Bengaluru, he will, however, captain the squad in lieu of captain.
